There are two ways to start a trek. Either you can kick start from Kulem railway station(Goa) which is the most comfortable option for Mumbai, Pune people or you can start the trek from Castle rock railway station(Karnataka Goa Border) which is a convenient option for Bangalore side people.
To reach Dudhsagar waterfalls, you can also take a train from Mumbai or Pune to Madgaon railway station. Further, you have to take a passenger train to Kulem from Madgaon, Goa. The frequency of Madgaon – Kulem passengers is less. You can take a bus or taxi to the falls from Madgaon. The journey takes about 5 hours
Best time to visit Dudhsagar Falls
The best time to visit Dudhsagar waterfalls is during the monsoon season, from June to September. This is when the waterfalls are at their fullest and most spectacular. If you can’t make it during the monsoon season, the next best time to visit is during the winter months, from December to February

The Dudhsagar trek is 14 km long(One way- from Kulem) that takes around 6-7 hours, passing through the dense forest and walking through the railway tracks.When you witness the huge water cascade for the first time, you will be amazed to see such a magnificent view, and the natural beauty surrounding it is just commendable.
